Become a content creator in 2026
and change your life
People in my generation treated creating videos or writing online like a distraction.
(I’m 25, technically Gen Z, but I don’t even know what rizz means).
Unlike real Gen Z, I didn’t grow up believing content creation could be a real career.
Back then, people thought only jobless people made content because they had nothing better to do.
So every time I wanted to post something, a voice in my head whispered:
“Who do you think you are?”
“People will laugh at you.”
“You’re not creative enough.”
I believed it for a long time.
I know many of you have felt the same.
How many times have you scrolled through the internet searching “how to become a content creator” or “how to start content creation”?
When I stepped into the marketing field, I realised the space had changed.
There are HUGE opportunities in content creation.
I slowly learned how to talk, how to edit, how to structure ideas, how to make people actually feel something.
Some days it worked. Some days it flopped.
Most days, I felt like I had no clue what I was doing.
Slowly, people started listening.
They started trusting me.
Opportunities came in. Brands reached out. Clients followed.
My work started building its own voice.
If I had never started content creation, sure, I would have still gotten clients through referrals.
But for how long?
Content is an asset.
It works for you even when you’re not working.
But honestly, content creation feels extremely lonely in the beginning.
You doubt everything you post.
You compare yourself to everyone.
You worry people are secretly judging you.
But you’re not wrong for feeling that.
If you’re someone who really wants to create but keeps stopping yourself…
I made something for you.
Everything I wish someone had told me when I was scared, stuck, and clueless.
So if you’ve ever felt like content creation is “not for people like you,”
It might be the push you’ve been waiting for.
